ALL THE WAY
I raced all the way!
I reached the egg first,
And left behind the rest.
Though not "alive" yet,
I'm ready for the quest.
I raced all the way!
Childhood came and passed.
I grew up well and fast!
I did so well in class,
And never carried last.
I raced all the way!
Teenage years were different,
Neither was adulthood lenient.
From blending in and the emotional strife,
To striving to be different.
No one said it would be easy.
It can get pretty greasy,
And so, feel slippery.
It can become hazy,
Just don't get driven crazy.
Along the way you stumble.
You either hold fast or tumble.
What matters is whether you crumble,
Or stay strong and not fumble.
This journey has many obstacles.
Remain cool like Popsicles,
Learn the right way to spread your tentacles,
And you'd enter the good chronicles.
Whether you walk, fly, jump or hop,
Or you run at full gallop,
And got lucky, not hit by any wallop,
Never forget the aim -reaching the top.
Searching for light at the end of the tunnel?
You're the light to illuminate the channel.
