LETTER TO NATURE

Dear Mother Nature,

Thank you for your blessings
That you have rained on us mortals
And lowly people
Though much are our shortcomings.

Thank you for the hummingbirds
Sparrows, falcons and nightingales.
For the archangel Phoenix
With her powerful wings.

Thank you for the greens
And the nourishment they offer.
For the trees, shrubs and flowers,
And for the beauty and love they signify.

Thank you for the glistening waters
That run through the never ending oceans.
For the streams and rivers,
And for the multitude of lives they house.

Thank you for the endless skies,
For radiant blues, diamond whites and various hues.
For the galaxy's endurance, moon's glory
And the ever-shining sun.

Thank you for beautiful days
And more enchanting nights.
For sunshine and rainfall
That still promise new beginnings.
