SEDUCTION

I've been blinded by the sun

And burnt by it's scorching heat.

I've been hurt by its fierceness,

And Mercury pays the most for it.

Alas, the moon has captured my heart!

Its slow graceful movement caught my eye

Right from childhood

When it'd cast beautiful shadows

In my path.

The moon has listened to my deep secrets,

It has caressed my body,

And bathed my tear-streaked face

In soft and subtle shades of light.

Call me sinister for loving the darkness;

But I can't help being swayed

By the Galaxy's dark and starry seduction.
