DOUBTING GOD

To succeed, we strive in anguish

That wage war within our fragile hearts;

A battle of uncertainty,

Towards brighter hope, fulfilled dreams, and a better fate;

Questioning our Creator when we fail in our journey,

Wondering if we were ever born for greatness.

In our unpredictable world,

Where luck falls on the maleficent ones;

In a world where the privileged ones we admire

Are connected by the privileges we desire;

Wondering if God has forsaken us,

Pondering when our time would come.

If only we could believe in God,

If only we could cast our burdens on Him;

If only we know how precious we are in His sight,

And could trust and cleave to Him;

He knows the right time for our greatness.

Let Patience journey with you in life;

God surely has great plans for you.

Let your faith roar so loud that

You cease to hear what doubt is saying.
